i have a 96 1/2 ton ford f-150 4x4 ! before very long i am going to have to change the front coil spring towers ! they don,t look too bad yet but they are getting there ! what kind of grinder do i have to get to grind the heads off the rivets ? do i need a angle grinder or what kind ? the truck is in great shape all except the towers and 1 shackle on the rear leaf spring so i will have to grind the heads off the spring shackle too ! my girlfriend,s sister,s boyfriend used a grinder to grind down the rivet heads when he replaced the radius arm bracket ! i saw those small angle grinders in wal-mart for $30.00 so i did not think that was not a bad deal ! thanks guys !
