flex fuel and regular unleaded fuel

I have a 2014 flex fuel f-150. Its in the shop now because it stalls at idle at runs like crap. the dealership wants to know if I mixed regular gas with flex fuel. Does that make a difference? I was under the impression you can mix flex and regular fuel together.

you can mix the fuels. the issue is small quantity fueling events. these go unnoticed by the system and may skew fuel composition data. I believe the owners manual states fueling events should be over a certain volume when changing fuels.

don't waste your time with e-85. more $ to get poorer fuel mileage...no thanks.
