FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

Got a 1995 F-150 that i bought with an oil pan leak. Just a gasket right? Yep got a new gasket took her to the garage with with the best of intentions but it has other plans. 302 with an automatic. Any tips or tricks to get the oilpan out shy of pulling the motor? Ihave the motor jacked up a good 6 inches still cant get the pan free! Idropped the pick up tube and evreything elsei know to do. PLEASE HELP!!!!!! I've not only frustrated my self beyond what i thought possible but also my short tempered dad! Any help is VERY much appreciated!!

Dropped the oil pump down as well?

I remember them being tight for clearence, but don't remember them hanging up.. Does it top out on the intake plenum? Fan shroud loose? If it's as high as you can possibly go,, and its bumping the lower bell housing/trans you mighttake the trans bolts, starter, torqueconverter, and rear mount loose and tip the trans up/back for some extra clearance..

RE: FRUSTRATING!!!!!!!

I have a 91 Grand Marquis that had that problem and I ended up tucking the four gasket piecesup in there without taking the pan out of the car. I did have to live with a small leak at the back of the motor that I could never find and always wondered if it was the rear seal.
