Fuel issues
 
I have a 95 ford f150 with a 4.9l i6 automatic dual tanks now both tanks are working the pumps work have power running to them they turn on and the injectors and filters have been replaced but the truck wont start without carb cleaner or some sort of fuel source its not building up pressure whats your thoughts

Welcome to the site..

If the pump/s run, you should see 'some sort' of pressure/volume at the fuel rail schrader. What's the pressure indicated there?

When the key is cycled ON, do you hear a pump run for a few seconds? PCM supplies the grounding to run the pumps, not a 12v distribution.

' Now' the pumps are working?, was one or more replaced? If so, why and when. Both replaced at the same time? Or was there something else causing them to not run, relay, fuse, inertia etc.

I dont have a fuel pressure hook up for the shrader and both pumps when selected buzz for 1-2 seconds after ignition turned on i have unhooked it from.fuel filter and no pressure build up the people who had it before me replaced fuel pumps do to them being faulty thats all i know could i install a rail monted fuel pump
