I would say that if there is any air in the system that it should work its way to the top??? I am no pro, but a new clutch is most always gonna feel different that your old one.

RE: help with clutch 2001 f-150

My first thoughts would be "Why did it fail as soon as it did?" Then I would think, Is it working as it should ? As the other post mentioned..After a change, it will be different. I recently changed the clutch, pressure plate and throw-out bearing in my brother's truck. He noticed a change but is happy with the trucks performance. My question is...Did they change the throw out bearing.. If they did not, it might be sticking...Your coment about the clutch pedel kicking back indicates that it might be sticking or miss alligned. Your other coment about air in the system should not cause the kick back. However, after 40 or so years working on cars, I have witnessed odd things happening that I am unable to explain. Carl
