Horn/Cruise Control

It appears that my F150 has a horn issue at a sensitive time as it must be inspected very soon for new tags!

in troubleshooting this, I've removed & place power to the horn assembly..it works as it should. Harnesses look good; fuse(for both horn & speed control [also not working]) is good. removed the steering wheel cover that holds the switches for both items.....wiring looks good, horn even blew! Replaced the cover & no horn...again....speed control either. Horn relay ohms out good, operates as it momentarily activated said horn.

Can anyone offer a direction to resolve this, pls?

Will update my sig, but for the meantime, my ride is:

1993 F150 XL Supercab 5.0L/Auto, 3.98 Axle, 2WD, 2Dr

4/13 - Since this entry, I've removed the steering wheel cleaned the slip ring, contacts & slightly shimmed the contact base . All is good now.
