Default How difficult is it to remove the radiator grille on a '97 F150?

Hi guys and gals,

One of my old high-school buddies is looking into replacing the stock radiator grille on his '97 F150 with a nice chrome unit that he bought and he wants to enlist my assistance for the job. I referred to this F150 radiator grille diagram and, from what I construed, there seems to be 3-4 bolts and maybe even a fastener (or clip) that has to be removed before the grille is liberated from the body.

Am I correct in this assumption? Can someone provide insights into the best way to perform this job? Thanks in advance!

Just remove the headlamp assemblies so you can get to the hidden screws and you pretty well got it.
