Need front end lift advice...
 

Guys,
Since I only drive jeeps, I don't know alot about Fords. My wife has a F-150 Lariat Super Crew with the 5.4 Triton. She eventually wants a lift and larger tires, but since we have a baby coming in 2 months, i want to wait till the kid gets a little older so she doesen't kill herself loading and unloading the kid.
But there is 1 thing that bugs me on that truck. I do not like how the front sits lower than the rear. I know they all do it, but I just don't like the looks. You can really tell by the distance from top of tire to top of the wheel well arch.
So, 2 part question. 1, what is the most cost effective way to lift just the front? 2, what brand is the best to go with in terms of a truck lift?

BTW, this thing is onroad 99.5% of the time, and usually only taken offroad when hauling my jeep.
And it's 4wd.

You can purchase what is called a leveling kit. These things for for about 200dollars. Basically just a pair of spacers thrown under the front coils to level the stupid thing out. They do work, they level a vehichle out nicely. Depending on who you go with it may just level the front end or actually level the whole truck adding about an inch of lift, something else you can try, cheap and easy to do, Crank up the torsion bars in the front. Generally raises the front to the height of the rear, depending on make and modle. Typical thing for a tire shop to do when fitting 285/75/16 onto newer fords and chevys around where I live. That gives you enough clearance over the 245/75/16's they come stock with.
