Noise
 

My 2009 f-150 has a noise in the front end.The noise is like a rattling noise but goes away when i put it in 4wheel drive.I replaced the diapham for putting it in 4 wheel drive as it was leeking.This did not solve the noise.Did anyone else have this problem if so what was it.

Unfortunately, it is next to impossible to offer any intelligent suggestion regarding noises, unless we can hear them or you can be more specific as to where the noise seems to be loudest. Can you help us out here?

It is hard to tell but it seems to be coming from the front wheel

Might be a good idea to check the u-joint at the front axle behind the wheel where you think the noise is loudest.

Checked everything in the front end.Can't find anything.Guess i'll have to wait untill it does it all the time or something breaks.
