obd connection not working?

Need help here. I got a 2000 f150 with 4.2 liter v6 it has 226,000 miles on it. Last winter I had the heater core replaced, and noticed soon after that my connection on my obd under the dash no longer seems to work. I have tried two different scanners but neither one works, tried them on my Lincoln truck and both scanners worked. So I am wondering if anyone out there knows exactly where these wires come from. When looking under there, they snake around under the dash and I can't seem to keep track of it. Also, is there a way to test power to this obd connection? Is there one prong that should have power at all times? The service engine soon light is on and it has a miss sometimes but cant seem to locate exactly what it is. I am thinking the miss may be caused by a bad o2 sensor, but there are 4 of them on this truck and hate to replace all of them just to figure it out! Any and all help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks

Check the fuse fo the cig/power point first, it powers the DLC..
