probably the project of a lifetime P/u to Bronco
ok i have a 94 f150 reg cab long bed, no body, no engine was l6 with e4od tranny 2wd.
and i have a 88 bronco 302 and manual transmission 4wd with no frame. the wheel bases dont line up. can i move rearend closer to cab will bronce fit on pick up frame. will 302 bolt up to e4od can i use e4od with 4wd. is it actually possible to swap 4 wheel drive does anyone have a link that would help? |
wow, sounds like your in for a lot of welding/ fabricating. even if its not a bolt on (which i'd guess not, lol), if you have the right tools, and skillz, i'm sure you can fab new brackets, and everything required to make it work.
Tho, i'd guess it would be easier to just find a bronco frame, and go from there. like from a junkyard or something, and then just assemble it. good luck bro. be sure to post up lots of pics of your progress if ya do decide to make it work. |
well, i can tell you what I know. I used to own a 1993 F150 4WD with the 302, 5.0L V8 and an E4OD transmission. So, yes, all those parts will work together. It sounds like you need to go out (junkyards, friends, etc) and find a "donor truck" to find all your adapters and such. But in doing that, you may just want to buy/fix the donor truck and sell what you have.

Good luck on your project and please post pictures of your progress if you decide to go that way. :) |
I wonder if he could stretch the drive lines instead but then again we don't know if bronco is full size or not nor if truck has cab or what
