radiator question

i went to the junkyard and was looking around for awhile and finally found an mid 80s to 91 f150 with a radiator i could use. it 302 like my truck, but it had a single row radiator, where mine had a 2 row. the radiator i had in my truck is wider (taller) then the single row i found at the yard, but only about a half inch. my question is, will this single row rad. work fine in my truck until i get all my other parts and get some money for an aftermarket or should i find another junker 2 row?

It will probably "work," but the correct one will be better.

alright thats really all im looking for. i dont wanna run too long with a lower grade rad. though. if you keep the cooling system good on these trucks they will run so much longer

Yeah, best to be safe. It would probably be fine for the most part, but may run the engine a bit hot at times. And the times that it would run it a bit hot are the times you don't want it a bit hot (i.e. towing, mud, etc.).
