I have no suggestions on what to change or upgrade, but it might be a good idea to get familiar with spark plug replacement procedures if your vehicle has one of those engines that had spark plug problems.

Adding a good intake and free flowing exhaust are some simple mods that can help boost the power of your rig.

I had a 01 F150 from a neighbor to use for a short trip with the family and I was amazed at how quick it was right off the get go. When I got back I asked him what he did to it because it looked totally stock under the hood.It was a Throttle body spacer. I was impressed just that throttle spacer made the tires chip when taking off from a light if you didn't ease into the throttle. For the money I would start there and then an air intake and or exhaust.Any of these I'm sure you would be happy with because these engines are so de-tuned at the factory from what there true potential is.
