Default Shaking While Braking

My 1998 F-150 shakes real bad while braking from about 30 mph to stopping. Another forum said that it was prob the rotors so I plan on getting new rotors and pads but I wanna make sure this will make a difference.

Anybody have advice?

I agree...depending on how long you been driving 'em like that, they probably going to look all warped and stuff, thats what creates the shaking...different thicknesses because of wear...brakes harder on some parts then others...get em changed quick fast and in a hurry

yep thats its , only going to get worst , usually caused from getting them hot an running through a deep puddle , or hitting the car wash an watching the steam rise as you hit it with the wand , an going COOL , look at that

No doubt. Probably shakes when driving at some speeds, too...

I have heard that some of the late 90's F-150's have rotor troubles; is that true?
