spark plug question

after getting help from a previus question i asked, i decided to follow there advice and get new plugs as well. when shopping i noticed there was a huge diffrence in price on spark plugs. the cheaper ones had one metal peace to spark on, but the more expensive ones had 4 metel prongs to spark on. is it really worth it to go for the plugs that have 4 prongs to spark on? will i actually see a difrence in performance and gas milage? or will it morley improve my starting?

thanks guys...

RE: spark plug question

I assume you are talking about the spitfire plugs,There good and you might see a diffrance depending on what plugs are there in now. [hr]But one of the best is the bosch double platnium.

RE: spark plug question

The platnium plugs do last longer an show far less wear ....... Ive read several test ,, an as long as your running new plugs,,, the ones with 2-4 prongs really dont show that much more / if any improvement,,,,, If they did the various car makers would have there boys all it, an come outta the factory with that style in it .

you cant get any simplier with a spark plug ,,, its a short to ground an the current is going to take the least path of resistance,, it dont make any differace if theres one pathway or ten.

Any good new set of plugs will work well and make a difference over old used plugs.
