stalls for no reason

 89 f150 300 straight 6 standard 5 speed spit sputtered died towed home. drained entire fuel system no change. replaced tank, fuel pump, sending unit, inline filter, and fuel with pure gas. spit sputtered but quit after a couple of tanks. still won"t start when turned off in hot weather till i let cool for awhile. headed home today no spit or sputter just died. will turn over but sounds like not getting fuel. think old electronics heat sensative. can shoot fuel in intake and runs till fuel gone. think it might be fuel regulator. anyone with same problem? please help. thanks

On your fuel rail there is a little valve that looks like a tire valve. Once is quits, push that valve in. A squirt of fuel should come out. If it doesn't, then you know you have a fuel supply problem.

Be careful with the squirt of fuel on the hot engine!

i know i have fuel pressure cause when this happened before i took fuel line loose and was covered in fuel. that is why i"m leaning toward the fuel regulator or something along that line. thanks for the input. any other ideas?

There is a regulator on the fuel rail. Check the rail for pressure after it stalls.
