Truck goes into fail safe mode on low oil pressure

Need some help. My 2005 F150 once in a while goes into the fail safe mode while driving. It indicates low oil pressure but the engine is not low on oil and the pressure gauge does not drop. If I turn the key off, and restart, it seems to be fine. This has happened 5 or 6 times to me but thank goodness it has only happened at low speeds. I am concerned this may happen at high speeds someday and the steering wheel lock up. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

There is an oil pressure switch that goes bad on these trucks, it will cause all of your symptoms.

It is roughly 10 dollars at your local autozone!!
