vacuum Switches

While working on a friends truck ( 1986 F 150 5.8 ) among other things the yellow and brown vacuum switches are bad I have found yellow but on brown there are 2 listed PVS 18 --- and PVS 150 cannot find any temperature specs ,does any body have correct #s for these ported vacuum switches, would be much appreciated.

Thank You

A good portion of the time we can figure out which switch might be better if we know the hose routing. If you can provide this , may be able to offer an intelligent answer.

No temp range stamped on the PVS's nose?

The routing of hoses has never been altered since this truck sat in a garage for 10-15 yr but looking at diagram and tracing them out the yellow basically controls egr, heat riser ,with branches to canister ,haypower was right the temp is on bottom of vcv the yellow is 160d, and the brown is 225d, It basically goes to canister it seems to me 225 is kinda high, under mass of hoses it may also go back electric solenoid to increase rpm during hot conditions, do you gentlemen know of a good source for these vcv?

Thank You for your reply

A good place to start might be a few Ford dealers. They just may have some lying around and would be glad to get rid of them.
After that you might have some luck with the usual auto supply stores.

eBay is a good resource.

However, some aftermarket units didn't always follow OE color coding yet function/temp was matched (or close to) original. I'd think NAPA could still supply the switches.. Surprised both are bad, but their easy enough to check switch function with a thermo, vacuum hose and some hot water..

Thanks again for your reply, I did check with vacuum and heat first ,probably bad from sitting 15 yr, found both at auto parts and stuff autopartsandstuff.com.
