Default vibration around 40-50mph?

I have a 97 F150 4x4 w/ the triton motor, the last 6 months i noticed that at 40-50 mph it seems to vibrate/shimmy a bit. When I towed my boat last month at the start of the pull it seemed to come on as well, then only at the 40-5- mph. I had this problem before, but the engine light was on and they replaced some of the points. Also, recently replaced the front tie rod. Any ideas? Thanks.

Did you lose a balancing weight on one of your wheels?

I don't know, but will check. The engine light isn't on, so it must be balancing? Thanks for the suggestion.

also check the tires. i had that on my bronco and it was a belt that separated in the tire. and make sure that the wheels and tires are balanced
