00 F250 DIESEL WON'T START?

MY 2000 F250 DIESEL 7.3 EVERY NOW AND THEN WON'T START.WHEN IT WON'T START THERE IS A CLICKING UNDER THE DASH AND THE STARTER IS TURNING OVER FINE.WHEN IT STARTS THERE IS NO CLICKING UNDER THE DASH.WHATEVER THE CLICKING IS I BELIEVE IS RELATED TO THE TRUCK NOT STARTING.THIS IS MY FIRST DIESEL SO I AM LOST ANY IDEAS ON WHAT THE PROBLEM MIGHT BE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED.

It may be the Cam Position Sensor?

You need to have the codes checked plus glow plug system and batterys checked. That is the place to start.
