Default 05 f250 SD banks big hoss bundle review

Hey, I am looking at trucks and i really like the look of fords, but like the Cummins the Dodges have. I was wondering if anyone has the banks big hoss bundle, the one with the intake, intercooler, programmer, exhaust, and programmer. How does this kit had to performance and more importantly gas millage. I plan on doing mild 4 wheeling, towing my jeep and a small boat, and will be making a 400 mile round trip ounce a month. Not much else. Any one got any info on this kit, or any other kits i should look at. Thank you,

Oh, i am looking at the 05 f250 power stroke with the crew cab.

Really? that sucks, Will i be better off getting a Dodge?

If that is too much for the ford, what can i do to improve the fuel economy?

Is there any chip that improves fuel economy, i dont need more power than the engine already puts out, but it would be nice.

I am also planning on putting on a new intake and a new exhaust.

like i said before ,the headgaskets are very prone to blowing on the 6.0l engine-the best fix for that is to delete the egr and cooler assembly and install new headgaskets and arp studs -then you can run whatever you want on the 6.0 and not have any headgasket issues-i am a ford man all the way -but if i HAD to buy a newer diesel truck a dodge would be the way to go-ford ****ed up with the 6.0l and are doing even worse with the 6.4l engine.
