Default Electrical Fuel Pumps

I have a 1984 F350 460. The electrical fuel pump will not shut off when I turn my ignition off.

Find the fuel pump relay and unplug it . Either the relay is hanging up or there is a feed keeping the relay energized.

I found the problem. It was my starter relay. I found a wiring diagram and it lead me to the relay and inertia switch, but nothing after that. So I traced the wire coming from the high pressure pump out side of the tank and it lead me to the black wire that slides over one of the screws on the 4 post starter relay. I unpluged it and it quit. I repalced the starter relay and everything is working fine. Thanks for all the help.

I never heard of a starter relay doing that, but we learn something new every day. Thanks
