1992 f350 7.3l valve cover gaskets....

My valve cover gaskets are shot, I am debating doing them myself, Are there any tips yall can provide, anything i need to know before I go in there and just do it? Do I just pull the covers off and clean and replace? Our local ford dealer wanted more money than I am willing to spend.
Its a 1992 Ford F-350 7.3l. with an aftermarket ats turbo.
I have to do something, one side leaks so bad i have a puddle of oil sitting under my truck.

Thanks in advance for your responses.
