Default Help needed,

I have a 1982 f250, was idling in driveway and shut off on its own. Now won't start. New ignition mod., new alternator, New distributor cap, new wires connecting, rotor turns when cranked. Any ideas? I have a spark tester but it doesn't show I am getting a spark from coil to distributor? I have power going in to coil, per voltmeter. Is my coil bad?

How about a little help here? Trying to recall what type coil is on an 82
.
Anyway, if you have power going to the coil from the ign sw. ,do you have power coming out of the other coil primary terminal? If so , next now we need to know if the terminal on the coil that gets grounded by the module is getting a ground signal. Need a meter or test lite to check this, do you have either of these or can get one to use/borrow?

I believe the coil has two small threaded terminals and one center hi voltage discharge terminal in the center.
There should be power coming from the ign switch on one of the terminals. If you remove the wire from the ign module connected to the other coil terminal there should now be power at both threaded terminals with the key on. Do we have that?
