I have a 2000 Excursion with a V-10. I bought it new right when it came out. I put 10'' of lift and 38'' tires the 2nd week i had it. But anyway it now has 280,000 miles and she's gettin tired. And i found a deal on a 2008 V 10 with trans and transfer case. And i was wondering if its possible to swap out engine, trans transfer. I know the 08' is a 3 valve engine so i'm sure the computer is different. So does anyone know of any problems i might run in to or if it is not even possible. Any help will be great. Thanks

 

Wow I see your post has been since 2009 and no real answer to your question, seems like that swap would be easier than mine. I might as well look somewhere else for my answers, people here either don't know or don't care to answer. Good luck to you.
