i have read alot of infor about mercon and mercon V transmission fluid. what do you suggest for F250 super duty, diesel,automatic transmission

 

hi,welcome to the site I have a 2001 that i just did myfluid change i used the new mobil 1 multi-vehicle syn.so far seems to bevery good fluid. i tow about 11,000 lb.40' travel trailer.only see 160* on the temp gauge.

 

Mercon is being phased out.. MerconV will be the service fluid, and is backwards compatable...
