2000 F250 SD wiring for Lance camper
Has anyone wired their F250 for a Lance truck camper? I just purchased a 2000 Lancelite 845, and need to plug it into the truck. I got the Lance EP200 socket with 8' of wire harness from a camper store. It has the socket that plugs into the Lance at one end, and bare wires that needs spliced into the F250 at the other. Is there a recommended place to splice into the Ford harness? I followed the wires from the 7-pin connector at the hitch...up the drivers side frame rail...and to a connector abover the drivers front wheel well. Is there a break out harness that Ford sell to pick up the turn, running, and backup lights at this connector? Or should I splice into the 4 wires I need, midway back the frame rail?
Also, is this the correct function for these 4wire colors on the Ford?
yellow.............left turn
green...............right turn
brown/white.....running lights
black/green......backup lights
The only other wires are:
white.......8ga ground.......to the frame
black.......8ga hot, +12v.......from batt.pos.......to 30A circuit breaker.......to Relay.......to Lance harness
Any advice is appreciated on other peoples camper setups.
Thanks,
Ty

Welcome to the site..
The wire color/functions are correct as you listed.. Trailer battery charge wire is Orange..
No splice harness or plug and play that I'm aware of, and usually a tie in along the harness run down the L/rail is done dictated by the camper/harness connection..
