2000 f350 Powerstroke Airbag Light on, flashing 32 and cruise and horn works fine
i have looked everywhere and i know the 32 code means airbag circuit resistance high and that it is usually the clock spring. however, it appears most folks also have the cruise and horn not working. they both work just fine on mine. i have no issue in changing the clock spring myself, but at about a hundred bucks and time to do it, i dont want to if i dont need to.
has anyone had this happen and if so, what was the fix. advise please thanks tom |
Welcome to the site..
Resistance can be a poor connection/corrosion in the driver air bag module circuits or the air bag sliding contact.,an open circuit or high resistance in the air bag sliding contact windings,or an open circuit or high resistance in the wiring harness, open circuit or high resistance in the driver air bag module as well. Was the code retrieved during on demand as a hard fault? or just LFC? |
it is a hard fault and comes up everytime the ignition is turned on. but does not throw a dtc.
