2001 F-350 and bigger tires

Hey guys

What is the biggest tire you can put on a 4x4 F-350 that won't rub if you load it down. I use my truck to haul block, brick etc and it gets maxed out frequently. I think i would be more concerned about the back wheels rubbing that the fronts turning but I may be wrong.

What have you guys done? I don't plan on a lift ever just want to get a little bigger than stock since they look kinda wimpy now.

Thanks
Ben

BIGGER TIRES WON'T HELP WITHOUT HIGHER LOAD RATING WHY NOT STAY WITH STANDARD SIZE AND INCREASE THE LOAD RATING THAT WAY U WON'T HAVE ANY ALIGNMENT ISSUES OR PROBLEM WITH TIRES RUBBING I HAVE A 94 F-350 AND SOMEONE PUT LARGER TIRES AND WHEELS ON IT AND THEY WERE RUBBING FRONT BUMPER IN TURNS SO I PUT STOCK WHEEL AND TIRESN ON WITH LOAD RANGE E AND IT HANDLES BETTER

You should be able to fit 33's no problem and maybe bigger, i have a 4in and 35's and i have tons of clearance.

My 2 cents. It depends on the truck. Mine came with 265's, I put on 285's and had no problem. 305's rubbed the back side of the fender well when I turned hard left. My buddy's truck did not do this and his was also a 2001. Someone else touchedon itearlier and I'll mention it again, as you go up in tire size there can be issues with handling. It has some thing to do with sidewall stiffness. If you'll notice, 265's are usually 80psi,285's /65 psi,305's/ 50 psi. You get more sidewall flex with less pressure which can cause some handling issues. I do pull a 10+k fifth wheel with mine on 305's with no trouble. I am willing to live with the extra wear the weight puts on the tires and the flex is not real obvious.
