2002 f 250 trailer lights stay on all the time

Hello I am new to this site hope ya'll can help me. I have an 02 f 250 diesel and last thursday I drove through dallas tx during that snow storm they had and I was pulling a trailer I had just bought. I had the lights on since about 10 that morning and when I got home around midnight I turned off the truck and went inside I looked out about 2 am and the clearance lights were on on the trailer only so I just went and unplugged the plug and figured something happened with all the moisture. I guess it was more than moisture because the trailer lights come on when I plug any trailer in. I have pulled 3 other trailers since then and they all do it so I was checkin into it tonight and figured out that when I take out the trailer clearance light fuse #38 that the lights go out. Like I say the light switch off and the clearance lights on the trailer plug still has power. I am thinkin it is probably the trailer clearance light relay is stuck could that be the cause?? Its weird that there is 2 questions about the same part in 1 evening but anyhow. I hope someone can help me and thank you in advance if you can. This little deal is inconvenient as hell in cold wet weather.

Welcome to the site..

Did you try a 'thump' on the CJB? :)

I did not try that I didnt know how much it could take with that circuit board in it. If that fixes it should I get a new one or will that one be okay?

Haya yes i tried giving the cjb a thump tonight and it didnt help. Is that most likely where my problem is? Is it time to replace it?
