Dang, thats some drive'n..

Check fuse/s (central junction box) position 35/10amp fuse for the interior lamps relay (integrated into the instrument panel processor) for interior lamp/running board lamp functions, and positions 2/10 amp, position 41/10 amp for battery saver relay while your there.. Do you get any door ajar indication when the left open?

[/align]I just went out and checked fuse 35, 2 and 41 just to make sure again, they were all good. The information panel is the only thing that indicates that the door is ajar. No lights no bells no whistles. Only if the key is in the ignition will the bell sound if the door is open. This is driving me nutz!!!!!!

With the door ajar light/circuit working elliminates the door switches ect.. And if themain panel light switch doesn't turn on the interior/board lights either, my guess would be that the microprocessor/ interior lamp relay in the instrument panel (cluster) isn't working.. If you want to pull the map light or high mount rear lamp and add 12v to the BK/LBwire the lights should then work bypassing the interior relay to prove out the lights.. Do the Map lights function? or the engine compartment lamp?

O.K. I took down the lamp assembly from the roof and put 12 volts to the courtesy light, it came on so we know that part is good. As for the rest, the map lights ,front and back do work, the courtesy lights, front and back do not. The engine compartment works, and everything thing else looks fine. You are probably right about the relay I bet thats what it is, is that something I can replace or check oris that a Ford dealer type deal? I sure appreciate the info, you are one dang thorough tech!!!
