2013 f350 sync no audio
 

My 2013 f350 with sync 2 my touch has a problem with the radio freezing. when I start the vehicle the audio will not work unless I power down the truck and pull the fuse. It will then work for 2 or 3 starts then I have to pull the fuse again. It has done this since I purchased it new and has been to the dealer numerous times for the problem. They do a software update or give it a sunshine treatment the give it back with the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix this piece of crap for good?

Can't speak for F350 but I've replaced many many APIMs in F150s for various radio/bluetooth issues.
The F150 ones cost around $500-$700, but are covered under ESP if you have it.
