Default 7.3 Occasional Starting Problem

I have a 2000 F-350 7.3 PSD w/ a standard trans. 4 or 5 times now over the last month, I turn the key and nothing. Each time I have let the clutch out, depressed it again, engaged the parking brake and released it, sometimes two or three times before it starts. It has not let me down yet, but I know it is only a matter of time. It starts perfectly 9 out of 10 times. Hard to fix when it ain't broke! Any ideas on troubleshooting? Thanks

Sounds like the clutch pedal position switch on the clutch release rod under the dash, or possibly the starter relay.. All the cluster illumination comes on when the key is cycled On?

Yes, all dash lights work. This morning it didn't turn over at first, but I just held the key in the start position, then moved the clutch pedal in and out a little, it started. Sounds like your suggestion of a bad position switch. Thanks
