Advance Trac
 

I have a 2011 F-250 4x4 Powerstroke shortbed set up for towing. The default setting for Advance Trac is "Always On."

I like the Advance Trac feature but I live in Arizona and hardly ever go off road, into snow or mud - just paved roads - mostly to tow my 5th wheel.

I notice the fuel mileage is a lot better with the Advance Trac off than when on - by about 4 MPG. :eek:

Will it hurt the truck or Advance Trac to drive it without the Advance Trac on? I leave it on when I tow but running around town I would like to shut it off to save money. :)

Any advice is appreciated.
