I am still in the market for a pick-up with my eye on the 250 for 350 from 1985 - 1995. However, I need cruise control. I did some research and found the earlier years did not have cruise control, and in the 1997 they started offering, but soon after Ford had to recall because it caught on fire. With that being said, is is possible to add cruise control to older models before 1997. If not I may have to look into the older Silverado or Ram (which I kind of don't want to do).
