Box Sizes F150 vs F250
 

Does anybody know what the difference is in the two boxes, F150verses the F250 Super Duty? I'm loking to buy a tonneau cover but I'm told the F150 won't fit my 250 Super Duty. I can get a new in the box cover for an F150 cheap but want to make sure it fits b4 having it shipped. Even the Ford dealer around the corner isn't sure if there is a difference or not, great help they are.

Not sure of the measurements for the 150, but the S/D's bed is 1 1/2" narrower in the back than the front.. Also the bed caps run from wide to narrow from front to back..

TheF250 is a 2005 asis the 150.
I was hoping there wasn't a difference as the one for the F150I can get is a heck of a savings. I guess they had to heavy up the box on the 250 somehow.

Yeah. They probably should have just reinforced the heavier duty model more instead of changing the mounting areas so distinctly. But then again - some people complain that they look too identical and they want more changes when they're the same style.

I have found out that the Super Duty Box is narrower at the rear than the F150 of the same years. You can't really tell by looking but a tape measure does the trick LOL.
