Default Check Engine light comes on and truck jerks while driving
1988 F250 with manual trans. While I am driving in 4th or 5th gear, the truck jerks (like it lost power) and check engine light comes on. It only happen for 2-3 seconds and then everything goes back to normal and the light is off. This only happens occasionally but it does happen regularly. Could this be the TPS is bad or what?? Thanks for any help!!

gas or diesel????? gas could be a number of things. what size motor???

It has a 302 fuel injected gasoline motor with a manual 5 speed. 4WD.
