F-250 Wiring Diagram/Repair Manual 7.5L
 

I've got a '92 F-250 with a 460that I'm trying to pull the engine out of and drop into my '72 Mustang. I've been trying to find a decent wiring diagram for it so as to determine which wires I need to keep and which ones to drop. It seems that everyone wants me to buy a subscription to access that information or buy a Chilton's/Haynes manual. Before I spend the money on a book, because I can't justify the internet subscription, I'd like to know if anyone has the Haynes or Chilton book and how detailed they are. I've had problems in the past with Chitlon books not being detailed enough but no experience with Haynes. Also, if there are any PDF files floating around out there that I haven't been able to find I'd appreciate being pointed in that direction as well. Thanks in advance.

There is an excellent site ( http://alldatadiy.com ) that my friend has gotten a subscription to for his Grand Prix, and it has been worth every penny.

Deciding between Haynes and Chilton is not so easy. I've had vehicles in the past where the Chilton's provided far more info when the Haynes was somewhat sparse. I've owned a lot of vehicles and worked on even more, and I'd have to say that Haynes is generally better. Haynes almost always has more detailed wiring diagrams, and more readable/followable repair instructions.

Kieth- I've got a '96 F250-F350 Manual, but I'mnot sure if the FI is the same. I could PDF the wiring diagram for you tomorrow if you need. Which parts of it are you searching for? FI computer, sensors or what?
