Default F250 electrical issues

I have a 1990 F250 Supercab with some serious electrical issues. I had to replace the fuel tank swith and the wiring harness behind it because is shorted out. I still can't swith between my fuel tanks, I now do not have any dash lights and my wipers on work on fast (no slow or intermitted speed). I have replaced both the wiper switch and wiper moter no change. Any ideas?

Thanks,
Darryl

I would think its in the wiring harness you installed, its my rule to cut only one wire at a time. Ive seen new harness with extra wires. Check the bullitens for that year to see if any new or revised.

The wiring harness is factory and was an exact replacement part - this was for the dual electric fuel switch mounted on the dash- I believe it may also be a bad ground that has affected the wipers (at least that what I'm being told by others)
