My wife and I just purchased an 06 F350 Dually 6.0.

Upon looking at it (private seller) we noticed some obvious changes. Headlights had been updated to newer ones. Tow mirrors were updated to the more square newer style tow mirrors, the tailgate was from a newer model as it had the step and rail and said Super Duty at the bottom. Upon closer inspection it appears that maybe the entire bed has come off a 2011-2016 as the dually wheel wells are the rounded style. Any cause for concern so far with any of that or are those relatively common mods?

Also, when I run the VIN on the free search sites on the web it lists the truck as a 2wd but there is a manual 4wd inside the truck. Is this normal? I matched up the VIN on the title with the VIN in the window. I didn't look at VIN anywhere else.
