Default Ford F250 ball joints

I have an 01 F250 with only 51k. The OEM ball joints went at 42k, I replaced at the dealer. Now 9k later (14 months later), I need to replace the ball joints again. Has anyone had this same problem? This truck is supposed to be a SUPERDUTY and is used as a daily driver and is not worked. Very limited plowing in the winter...
Of course FORD will not replace them....

What do you think?

Are the newer trucks with the spring over suspension in the front any better carrying the load and easier on the ball joints???

Default RE: Ford F250 ball joints

Our trucks run in pretty severe conditions, but I don't think we've ever lost a set with that short of service life.. May have been the install.. They did replace them all..Correct?.. Which are failing, lower, upper ect.. Usually the lowers go first.. Make SURE that when replacing them, they are replaced with 'greaseable' units.. Especially if being used in salt, severe duty applications conditions.. I haven't done a set in a while, but last time I checked the OEM were still greaseless units.. The aftermarket vendors like NAPA have the joints will a fitting for grease.. Don't think we ever lost one from too much grease .
