Default Horn sounds when the trucks off

I have a 1999 F250. I woke up last night to the sound of my horn sounding continuously, without the key in. The only thing that would stop it was to disconnect the battery. Any suggestions? Horn relay?

Removing relay will stop horn but your going to need it. Suspect ground short in steering wheel.

i agree. An escort I had did the same thing. It was a wiring problem in the steering wheel.
