LONG CRANK NOT STARTING 2017 f250
 

2017 F250 started with just the long crank. 30, miles . took to dealer twice everything checked out was told computer glitch working on a fix. fast forward.. random long cranks continued , went out to crank up and go... just continued to crank tried many times.. called tow truck took to dealer was told bad gas.. flushed out fuel system ..$1000.00 later said was fixed.. ( I contacted Murphy usa fuel ) I had fill up 3 days before they had no other complains or problems and run the standard fuel complain tank test. No contamination or water in tanks.. So here we are,,still... doing the long cranks to the point of turning key off and starting again. Now have 41, on truck so still very low mileage. Not real happy!!! Very disappointed!! Embarrassed !! my husband says just get rid of it. But even after it did the death wobbles in the middle of 5 lanes of morning traffic on the down town overhead in Fort Worth ( had that fixed...I did tell them to burn it first ) I still love my truck... vented calling dealer in the Am again!!!!
SO YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY ONE... NOT FROM BABYING .. because I don't.. start contacting your dealer.. THIS NEEDS FIXED WE PAID GOOD MONEY FOR OUR TRUCKS !!! FORD NEEDS TO FIX THIS PROBLEM!!

Just for starters,,,,,,,what kind of maintenance has your vehicle been receiving?

If the maintenance schedule in the owner's manual has not been performed, as recommended, that could have some bearing on the problems.
Has that been done as recommended?
