Newb trying to replace a Balljoint- f250 2003

Hi, I'm trying to replace a balljoint on my van. Someone suggested I brainstorm here, so here I am. I've got a repair manual and I'm watching how-to's, however real advice is always very helpful. So if anyone knows something to look out for when doing this please let me know I'd really appreciate it, as I literally don't know a thing. Right now all I'm really doing is looking at this manual and testing myself to see if I can identify the parts in the diagrams.

Just off the top of my I head i know I could point out the stabilizer bar, the steering knuckle, the balljoints. That's about as far as that goes atm though :D:D. Uhh any progress I make this project I'll most likely post here as I go along so.

Also a small sidenote...

Also on the inspection, the "passenger side bearing" needs to be tightened. I have not looked into what that is or what it means or where it is. I also have to replace my drivers side mirrors. I need to replace the front tires as well. And my air bag light is on for some reason.

You will need a special tool and accessories to remove and install the ball joints. Without the proper equip you might want to consider having another shop do the work. When you get done it will require a front end alignment anyway. Keep learning it will help you understand what all is involved.
