Radiator

So I changed my radiator today. My trucks turbo has been whistling more than it should and I have been putting almost as much water in the thing as diesel. Was hoping that the radiator would fix all my issues. Well.... was pulling a trailer down the road not long after and while gassing it the truck made a loud bang and that was that. Truck died and I cant turn it back on. Its not even turning over... Nothing. I had my scanner with me and figured I would see what was up. once again, nothing... I am unable to connect to the computer. The dash is showing... Nothing. I saw briefly TBC Fault pop up but what would that mean? The trailer brakes wouldn't be the cause of the truck shutting down like that would it? Usually I would have more to work with here.... It wasn't overheating. No smoke, No steam, just nothing. Anyone know where I should start?

Welcome to the site..

What Year diesel? How many miles? Was the coolant low when it quit, or excessive now? Any coolant in the oil?

The fact that you had to add so much water (prior to the radiator/after with new) is alarming unless it was leaking externally. 'Issues' prior is a bit vague..
So,, do you hear the starter engage/clunk 'at all' with a crank attempt, or just nothing? If the starter clunks, you might try and put a breaker bar on the front balancer bolt and see if you can rotate the engine over by hand.
Lots of possibilities fir a stall, no start,, but need to know if the engine/starter is active.. You can also jump the starter solenid terminsls and the engine should crank over as long as the batts are hot, grounds are good..

The truck has the 6.0 in it. After digging into it the next day I realized that I clipped the wires feeding the fan. (not the first time that has happened) After repairing I unplugged the batteries to restart the computer and then replaced a few fuses. Truck fired right up. I later found that it looked like I was leaking a bunch of fluid from one of the hoses in the egr delete kit that I installed a couple years ago. Fixed that tonight. Keep your fingers crossed because I am going to drive the hell out of it in the morning and see what happens.
