I have a 99 F250 diesel with regular power towing mirros.....I would like to replace them with the newer style mirros with marker lights.....I called the local dealership and the kid that answered the phone didn't know if it was possible....due to an extra pig tail....does anyone out there know if this is.....or is not possible...

I would say yes. I replaced the sport mirrors with the power tow mirrors without the side marker. If you know of someone that does stereo installations and understands what wires go to the running lights and blinkers it can be done. I found that out after I had purchased and installed the set of tow mirrors on ebay. By the way, a price of $400 dollars for the mirrors from the dealer, $165 on ebay, factory, new in box. I wish I would of purchased the ones with the side markers. Oh well.
