Default trany problem

hello all. i am new on here. i was told to come to you guys and ask about my tranny problem. so here it goes. first off. i just bought a 1994 f250 4x4 long bed extended cab. i was driving it home. at about 70 it started puking out tranny fluid from the front. so i plled over. got a few quarts and it stoped. it was at a very high rpm. like 3000 at 70mph. shifting very slow.check engine light was on also.so long story short. get it home reverse was actin up. then i get to work it dont wanna go in to reverse. so after work i went to go to the cervice center to take my truck to get fixed the pump is not wineing any more. the check engine light is off. it shifts better. but still kinda slow. went in to reverse. i dont have any clue whats wrong with it. guy said its a newer tranny. "who knows." its got the aode in it with the 460 efi. could the computer for the tranny be going out? what about sensors? i dont know what else could be bad. i found a tranny for 200. but would like to get this truck in good working order again. please help.

thanks
mike
