Default Tranny ?

My 2004 F250 superduty does this wierd thing where I will be cruising along at a steady speed and all at once it is as if you went into neutral and it feels like the rpms increase. I will take my foot off the gas and it is ok. I had brought the truck to Ford and had the tranny serviced and I tried to explain what was going on but they said everything is ok. The truck runs well and has 113,000 trouble free miles other than the above. Anyone experience anything like that ?

Poor or intermittent ground connections can cause unbelievable problems. If you can manage to check all the ground connections you can find , One may be a cause for the problem. Just looking at them is not checking them. They have to be loosened and tightened. Also, pay attention to the direction the engine moves when the accelerator is depressed in gear and there could be a wire(s) that return to a better connection when the pedal is released. Any codes in memory? Trans range switch connections?
