Welcome to the site..
How many miles on the trans? 4x4? Any OD light, flash or intermittent...
Was the reason for the fluid change because of the shift concern? Or started after your service?

I bought this 2000 f250 2wd v10 about a month ago from an original owner family.a sensor comes up for the tranny he replaced both parts and still comes up the(speed scencor output)code comes up.

The truck has a hundred 37,000 miles on it not sure if the transmission has the same amount of miles but I will find out

I'm not I'm not sure if the fluid change was because of the shift problem but the speed sensor output code comes up the speed sensor output sensor was replaced and the code still comes up there is a hundred 37,000 miles on the truck not sure if the transmission has ever been done the truck was well taken care of and came from an original owner family. The dipstick is broken on it so I am ordering a new one when he did the fluid change he's not sure if there's enough transmission fluid in it or not he said the transmission has been acting funny like this for like 3 years

The question about 4x4 was,, on 4x4’s they have a deeper trans pan and their filter has a longer intake neck, and if a 4x2 filter is installed on 4x4 they can come loose or disrupt fluid draw. Not your case though since your not a 4x4.

The fluid level is important, but they generally can be low and not cause driving concerns, plus,, the shift conditions most likely wouldn’t be intermittent. That said, the fluid level needs to be up to spec. to take fluid level off the diagnostic list.

If any speed sensor concerns remain, they must be addressed because they can affect shift points.

So,, the prior owner replaced the Tubine Shaft Speed Sensor (TSS) and the Output Shaft Speed Sensor OSS)?
Was the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) in the rear differential ever checked/changed? It inputs a rear axle speed signal to the PCM. As does the others.
If the VSS is an issue, shift scheduling/timing may be off, meaning shifts are extended out, harsh engagements, and/or forced at times. Sometimes the speedo will drop out or fluctuate..
If you can get codes, current ones, it would be a help...
