trouble need help
I have a 06 f 250 with a 5.4 L with 204147 km and are starting holidays this week and my check engine light just came on so I borrowed a code reader and this is the code p0352 ignition coil b primary/secondary, any help would be awesome.

Look for a problem with the 2nd cyl back from front on pass side . Could be spark plug, coil, boot, plug to coil even PCM.
If you haven't had any coils changed yet , may be due. Shouldn't wait too long because if a coil is shorted it could wipe out the PCM. And that is expensive. |
You didn't list any service/plug work as hanky mentioned. If they've been changed, you might move the coil to another postion and see if the fault code follows the move..

I bought this truck had 160,000 k , I haven't changed any plugs on it on done regular maintenance since I have owned it has always ran good. I will change the plugs and check all the connection on the coil packs I will move the coil that is mentioned is there any cylinder I should move it to. Thanks for all the help.

We usually try to move to another cylinder not next to the one your removing the coil from.
You may be due for some new plugs if you since purchasing it have never had them changed. |
I was wondering if anybody knows the trick to get the dust cover off to take the sparkplug out , almost looks like they are caulked in been trying to get the easy one out for a hour no luck

Finally figured out that you need 9/16 thin wall socket , but not off to a good start first plug try removing and it broke looks like the original plugs.So have to buy the tool tomorrow.

You might try letting them soak overnight with some penetrating oil.

Or when it breaks, you can just go ahead and buy the kit to remove the broken plugs. Usually (unless the plugs have been replaced regularly), this will happen. Don't say I didn't warn you...

I let them soak over night with carb cleaner and worked back and forth loosening and tightening and I ended up breaking 4 . So I will be removing them today. I will be the coil pack you have mentioned to the drivers front cylinder and hopefully this will fix my problem. Thanks for all the help.
